DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”2/3″]Deadline for application is December 10\, 2018[vc_column_text]Dear young colleagues\, \nIt is our pleasure to invite you to participate in Winter School of the ESCVS organised in mountain Kopaonik in Serbia.\nThis annual event\, dedicated to young cardiac and vascular surgeons and trainees\, was initiated by professor Domenico Palombo\, one of our previous presidents occurs in every summer or winter. The first winter school was organized in Aosta Valley in Italy in 2012. It was followed with schools organized in: Izmir-Turkey 2013\, Belgrade-Serbia 2014\, Heraklion-Greece 2015\, Porec-Croatia 2016\, Zabze-Poland 2017\, Genoa-Italus 2018 and Patras-Greece 2018. \nThis year winter school includes practical and theoretical sections. The Practical one will be related to anastomotic techniques with practicing on 3D printed and porcine models of different parts of aorta (aortic arch and infrarenal aorta). Theoretical section will be related to different controversial topics discussed in a “meet the expert” fashion.\nParticipant will be invited to come with already prepared questions for experts and they will discuss it in a small group (1 expert: 2-3 participants).
