DESCRIPTION:[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]Dear Colleagues\, \nWe are pleased to invite you to the 72nd Congress of the ESCVS\, the European Society of Cardiovascular and EndoVascular Surgery\, which will be held in İstanbul\, Turkey\, from 25 to 28 May 2024. \nI would like to express my great happiness that our community\, which has existed since 1951\, will meet for the 72nd time in Istanbul\, which has hosted two of the past 71 congresses\, to share the latest information and developments. \n72nd Congress of the ESCVS is the premier meeting for cardiovascular and endovascular surgeons from around the world. Cardiovascular diseases are the leading cause of death worldwide\, and it is our responsibility as researchers to work towards finding solutions to this global health challenge. I encourage you all to take advantage of this opportunity to connect with your colleagues\, share your knowledge and expertise\, and engage in meaningful discussions that will help us advance our understanding of cardiovascular diseases . \nThis year’s congress will feature a comprehensive program of scientific sessions\, including keynote lectures\, symposia\, workshops\, hybrid sessions and poster presentations. The program will cover a wide range of topics. \nI addition to the scientific program\, the ESCVS Congress will also offer a variety of social activities\, including a welcome reception\, gala dinner\, and excursions In the charming atmosphere of Istanbul. \nIstanbul is a unique city with its major role in history as the capital of three succesive empires. As the only city in the world situated on two continents -Asia and Europe- İstanbul has proved an attractive settlement for various civilizations since ancient times.
