The European Society for Cardiovascular and Endovascular Surgery (ESCVS) is dedicated in providing educational opportunities to residents and young cardiac and vascular surgeons.
This year’s ESCVS Winter School entitled THE ART OF SCIENTIFIC LECTURING AND WRITING will be held in beautiful city of Genoa, Italy, from 8th to 10th March 2018.
- The aim of the winter school is that the participants to get acquainted with all the aspects concerning the writ-ing and lecturing of scientific papers. The topics of the course are:
- how to write a paper, write a review, write a case report and write Phd thesis, use PubMed,
Material and Methods of Statistical study
Nowadays being able to interpret and write a scientific paper is more important than ever in the medical prac-tice.
In the era of global communication, being able to recognise a reliable scientific work from a false one, is a must as well as writing a paper which is scientific and winning at the same time.
20 young surgeons (10 cardiac and 10 vascular) will be granted free accommodation and course fee.
Due to the new Medtech regulation travel expenses will not be covered by the organizers.
Other interested participants will be able to apply until the maximum number of applicants is reached.
Interested participants, younger than 35 years of age, are invited to apply on info@pro-forma.org with their CV and ID copy (age proof). Granted candidates will be selected by members of Executive Committee of the ESCVS and informed via e-mail.
